BA (Hons) Film Production (BAFP) at The University of Portsmouth is a practical and industry-focused degree course, specialising in fiction and documentary genres, film craft and current industry practices and techniques, creative digital storytelling and production excellence. We strive for independent thinking, creativity and professionalism in the production of digital shorts and content creation.

You’ll learn how to develop, write, produce, direct, shoot edit and promote short film for cinema, television, film festival exhibition and digital platforms. When you complete the course, you’ll be equipped for a career in film and television and be able to tackle many roles in the TV/Film industry.
